2018年3月26日 · The ricasso on the AUS-8 version is also about 2mm shorter than on the newer version. The recurve on the older AUS-8 Field Pup is slightly deeper than on the newer version. The belly also sweeps sharper towards the tip on the older Field Pup. The grind on the AUS-8 version also looks to be much more even.

2006年7月30日 · Just got one in aus 8 it came pretty sharp slicing paper not up to what I sharpen my knives too though and a very toothy edge maybe 400 grit it was. I tried 25 a side that was too wide according to my marker. ( I usually sharpen my spydercos to 15-18 a side.) I then moved it to 20 a side looked pretty decent maybe I should have went to 18 or so.

2018年5月11日 · Well my list just got narrowed by one - the Sog Field pup apparently is no longer made in AUS-8 steel and instead 7cr17mov - as such I'm most certainly not going to buy it for $30+ dollars, I may as well get the Seal Pup Elite or the Bushlore at that price point.
