2022年3月13日 · Dude honestly take it from me I don’t know what the people in these comments are talking about. The 250 is a fantastic and reliable car, people are just put off by the power mainly. The IS’ main reliability issue was the carbon buildup. 350 didn’t have that issue, and the 350 has more power, so a lot more people recommend it over the 250.

2023年11月7日 · Its an RA62 with minor changes from FJ/Taco 60/61. Those used to a manual trans may find the accumulator on the clutch pedal a greater annoyance but that's easily fixed. I own an 06 IS250 6 sp manual. It's not the greatest manual transmission but it's good. It feels very smooth and but is rather uninspiring.

The is250 is a great car in its own right. Just because the is350 exists, doesn’t make the is250 any less of a car. For me personally, I didn’t want to have to deal with the carbon build up, which made me lean towards the 350. But that doesn’t take away from the fact the the 250 is still a brilliant vehicle.

That apparently comes with improved steering feel, paddle shifters that actually change gears ('09 only), and a traction control system I can actually disable. Test drove it for a while and was smooth to drive, didn't notice any issues (though I'm no expert). Asking price is $12k which is over the highest end price the KBB range at 11.7k for this spec and miles.

2022年1月6日 · The IS250 is unbeatable at its price range and class. The issues ( tire wear and carbon build up) are easily fixed and can be prevented with simple upgrades and maintenance. Mileage is 2MPG better on average compared to is350 according to fuelly.
