Oct 9, 2021 · Just to add that fixed my problem, for the second time! First time, blinking led, no coffee… returned to Nespresso and said the barcode reader was not clean enough to scan. 7 days without coffee (replacement unit was leaking eh…). Today, same symptoms again! Don’t wanted to spend time to return it, wait 7 days or more again.

Rinse and clean the empty water tank. Fill it up with clean, fresh water, at least 900 ml (32 oz) and install it back in the machine. Place a collection container at the spout. Push the button for the rinsing process to begin. Orange light will flash again as in a normal brewing process.

Jan 10, 2022 · My Vertuo NEXT is unable to read barcodes anymore. It is able to go through the clean and descaler cycles without any problems. However, whenever we put a new pod we just hear it spin and the orange light flashes twice. We have tried cleaning the clear ring around the pod compartment and we made sure that the top can spin.

But vertuo machine releases water only after reading the capsule barcode right ? Then how do you guys run just a water cycle (without putting a capsule) ? Thanks.
