The second sentences tells me that this person plans to go to bed in the future. I am not sure how long it will be before he or she goes to bed. People sometimes go to bed for reasons other than sleep.

Roughly an hour to get ready and do any morning chores. Leave at 8ish, casual stroll to work for 8:30. Some time between 10:00-11:00pm, sometimes earlier in winter. I tend to wake between 5:00-6:00am without an alarm. Similar age usually in bed by midnight up at 7am.
