2014年5月31日 · yes it is a intermittent fault when the leads are in the correct sockets for the measurement selection and i rarely take mA or A measurement through my leads in those sockets. I use a i200s for current. It has only ever happened to me when the leads are plugged into the com and v sockets and seems to starts as soon as the meter is turned on.

2024年1月2日 · The fluke TL175 test leads I normally use for everyday testing always seem to have 0.5 ohm resistance reading. I’ve tired cleaning the test leads and meter connection ports but it makes little difference. I have even tested a set of brand new fluke TL175 lead and the have about the same resistance. I tested them both on a Fluke 87v and 289.

2014年4月2日 · depends a little on accuracy you need, but if thermal emf is an issue (you do 6.5 digit plus measurements) I would recomend the low emf pomona cables. come with different ends, including isolated (spring loaded) 4mm banana. this way, you can forget about emf issues (provided the multimeter has the appropriate sockets), and they are reasonably priced.

2015年7月24日 · I tried re-soldering the banana jacks on my Fluke 187 to stop the beeping and "Leads" message. Did not help. Tried Isopropyl alcohol 99% no help either. Finally I tried MG Chemical Super contact cleaner with Polyphenyl ether. SUCESS at last. I bought the meter used on Ebay a few years ago. Started acting up today.
