2016年8月19日 · Talking about gluing PVC, just finished a job where the home owner had his own trenching done, about 200ft., installed PVC Conduit in 10ft sections and glued after he installed the wire in the conduit sections. I was a bit nervous about the glue possibly damaging the wire.

2018年4月19日 · Changing from non-matalic to metalic raceway, yes in theory the conduit should be bonded on both ends. Then I get all the flash backs about underground PVC to a ridgid 90 and vertical with PVC. Or a PVC stubbed out of the ground or floor to EMT. Perhaps one day a fitting manufacture will make a transition coupling that has a spot to lay in the EG.

If the conduit is continuous underground and using RW90 (smaller conduit and higher ampacity) but don't want to run conduit to the panel then splice. Im not sure if you're missing anything? 6/3 NMWU is 55amps in table2 and NMD90 is 75amps. Im not sure where the 65 is from?

Alternatively, can liquidtight (either LFNC or LFMC) be ran inside of a wall cavity? 350.10 and 356.10 say it can be used in concealed locations for X reasons.

2016年11月30日 · I haven't run SE cable, so I have a question. I'm feeding a sub panel and the run will take it outside then back in again. 4-4-4-6 SER .82 OD. I figured 1-1/2" sch 80 PVC. Conduit run is less than ten feet with a LB on each end. Also, is SE run inside through the floor joists? In over 30 years I've never used the stuff.

Ho is getting rid of the deck which is 14" above ground in some places- the only reason why i needed to curl and flex. If that were gone to begin with, run could have been straight pvc, with 270deg between pulls.
