Hi all, I've been playing Destiny 2. I've gotten as far as I can on the free account. Now I'd like to try Destiny 1 and do the story line. In google'ing I can't find any information on if it's free to play, pay once, or a monthly fee. Seems like it's bundled now with Destiny 2?

As much as I loved playing destiny 1, destiny 2 has pretty much become a far better game in every aspect, a plethora of quality of life features, much more intricate buildcrafting, more subclasses more abilities and the list goes on.

Rebuilding and optimizing Destiny 1 for PC is almost like building an entire new game the only difference being they have a lot of designs to work with already. they could. i mean they didnt release on pc the first time because they had been a 1 platform company for so long and to suddenly be making a game that worked on 4 platforms, adding a 5th (pc) was too much to think about. That said, now that they have d2 on pc and know how to do this stuff, it wouldn't be that hard to do.

Not going to happen. 1. Bungie stopped all support for D1 in August 2017. 2. While Bungie supports D2 on PC they did not create the D2 port. A studio called Vicarious Visions did but as Bungie has now left Activision they do not have the support of this studio now.
