Built very simply with a double frame of angle stock, a 12 ton bottle jack and several pieces of heavy rectangular tube stock to set the workpiece height. Here is a picture below.

2020年5月17日 · I made a small, 6'', press brake out of a 7 ton, electric wood splitter. I also have a 28 ton, 48'' hydraulic press brake, and am in the process of consulting on a 48'', 20 ton all electric CNC press brake. The CNC press brake project started out as a finger brake, but that idea was abandoned in favor of the more conventional press brake style.

2023年4月18日 · If there's no rake, your punch will shear the entire perimeter in one shot. That's not a problem with 1/2" or smaller punches, but when you get up to 3/4" or larger they generally have rake. If you are using a 12-ton or 20-ton press, all of the pressure is setting there waiting for the punch to bust through.
