Oct 12, 2021 · I suspect you're trying to more make a "pot roast" and you probably want to get a chuck or round roast and follow a pot roast recipe. Ideally I'd look for a lower temperature than 350F and a longer cook time - kinda the longer it goes, the better it'll be. I believe you're right. I think I want a pot roast, and less of a steak roast.

Tragically leaving me with nothing but buttered and toasted bread, garlic truffle aoli, and hummus for a sandwich. A good sandwich, but a far cry from what I've set out to create.
