Dont go to Autozone for Battery and Alternator Testing....

I drove across the street to Advanced Auto and had them run a test, and everything returned fine. There were no problems with the alternator or battery. Wanting a third opinion, I went to Pep Boys and got the same answer.

Aug 6, 2019 · Took it to the Auto Zone and had them check the battery/Alternator/Starter. ALL PASSED the check. Every time i shut it off the battery lights goes out. Comes back on after 1-2 minutes of driving. Still notice rough idle especially in reverse. No check engine light. Only battery/ I cant get it into the dealership till the 22nd.

Aug 25, 2014 · I removed the battery to take it to AutoZone to test it and they said it won't take a load and needs to be replaced. Well, $180 and a new battery later it still doesn't start. I tried to get under to check the connections to the starter but OMG!! I don't know how anyone can get to that starter without removing a bunch of stuff.

May 11, 2007 · Changed clothes, got back in the Commander, started it, no gauges, a/c, etc. Shut it off to check owners manual about fuses, thought maybe one had blown, turned it back on, everything worked fine, but the check engine light was on. Drove where I was going, sat for about 2 hours, check engine light was still on, got home and parked overnight.

Nov 30, 2011 · So, after the change I got the old, check engine light. I did the battery disconnect, and put the key to on for 2 mins, and reconnect and drive. But after a day i still have the light. I just uphooked the battery again. Placed the key in on. But this time i am waiting about 20 mins with the key in the on position.
