Jan 18, 2021 · It was at 10000, but twitch caps it out at 6000. I'm aware that 1080p will look worse than 720p and that wasn't actually my problem. My problem was that some of my viewers couldn't stream at 1080p without buffering issues, so I have to lower it down to 720p.

If you want to help the viewers that struggle right now, you need to turn down bitrate for everyone. The stream will be more blurry/blocky (and you should probably switch to 720p anyways at the same time to compensate).

Sep 15, 2022 · First I thought it was because of the new update so I downgraded from Version 28.0.01 to Version 27.2.4 but my stream's highest resolution was still 720p. When I use StreamLabs OBS (Yeah, I know its trash) with the same settings as in OBS Studio it works and I can watch my stream in 1080p.
