2016年9月4日 · I downloaded the latest MOTU audio installer, installed (usb/firewire and PCI audio tickboxes were already pre-ticked) and restarted my pc. I switched on the 1224 first, followed by the 828mk2. Opening up the MOTU PCI Audio console confirmed that the 1224 was detected and then the MOTU audio Console confirmed that the 828 was running.

Though unsupported, most older MOTU devices do work with current OS but you have to know where to find the latest drivers. For you and the rest of us with these units, it's the correct driver for the 828mk3 Hybrid.

2008年3月15日 · Funny you should mention MOTU's reliability, 'cause when I ran consecutive 2408s for 5 years+ I only ever had one incident where I thought something had clapped out. Turned out that after shifting my gear around or whatever I'd done, I'd forgotten to plug the AudioWire cable from the 2408 into the PCI card. Good news, man.
