Mike attempted to create knives at factories made in china, held to high quality standards and using designs that he commissioned and purchased from US knifemakers.

Its quite possible that the manufacturer has determined that 55 is the optimum hardness for that steel as used in a blade that size.

2005年3月15日 · Mtech is a brand sourcing knives from China; some of it is as good as the Chinese stuff sold by better known brands. some of it is junk. It is a mixed bag, and I don't hold it against them if there stuff sometimes looks like someone else's stuff; since both companies may be sourcing products from the same manufacturers.
Are there actually any good MTech or Tac Force price range knives?
2017年2月23日 · The M-Tech and Tac-force price range is about $5-$20 and there are most certainly some good blades at this price range. Buck has their 425, their 283, the standard medium bantam, and the 482 to name a few of their American made knives right at $20 or less. There are many Mora's in this price range. Opinel is in this price range.

2014年2月27日 · Try the Ontario rat (arguable the forums favorite $25 knife), Spyderco, Buck, Case, or Kershaw for excellent budget knives. You'll never buy another tac again. Also learn to freehand sharpen on stones or get a spyderco sharpmaker.

2017年11月10日 · Hi kar120c, Thanks for sharing your experience with the M-Tech knife. Sadly, they're more of a hazard to carry and use than any usefulness they can provide. Knives are a tool that can cause a great deal of harm if they fail, and M-Techs more likely to fail in everyday use than other budget options.
