Amazon Prime Video app not streaming beyond HD quality
I'm using Amazon Prime Video for Windows app in my laptop. I used to stream movies in that app at HD 1080p quality.. But I don't know why in the recent days, I'm just getting only HD quality (which is considered 720p). I tried playing in Edge, Chrome, Opera but still its being streamed at HD quality only. I've 100Mbps Up/Down internet.

2020年4月25日 · Taken from another thread, user JasonWoodward provided this solution, which worked for me - Prime now streams in 1080p again: " Amazon video playback works correctly only when Chromium Edge hardware acceleration is switched off. When turned on, playback is less smooth and sub-hd, even when best quality is selected."

2023年9月4日 · Try this fix. Right-click on the Windows key and select the Device Manager. In the Device Manager expand the Camera section and right-click on the driver and select Uninstall device. After that hit scan for hardware changes. The camera driver will install again. after that check if the issue resolved.

I can check though the "Test Patterns" inside Netflix. Because of that i uninstalled the chromium version and started using the old one.
