2018年11月16日 · I've always had an interest in making an EDF boat. I've seen the fastest 103mph fan boat and I know I'm not going to get the 10,000 watt power that thing put out. Photos are1/2 scale drawing on 1/4" squares. The long rectangle is the size of the 12s battery. As far as I've seen, the fastest EDF boat out there is 90 kph.

2013年7月24日 · Unfortunately the design is a copy of a German boat from the NiMH era, the floodchamber is too small for today's lighter brushless & Lipo set-up and the boat won't turn back up after a flip, unless you add a rather large amount of lead on the floodchamber outside wall, slowing the boat down and affecting the running attitude.

Rarely do boats have all around superior performance in both light air and strong winds. Changing sails makes you more flexible but you can't dominate both ends of the spectrum with a single boat.
