I was an early adopter of ceramic coatings, and helped a lot of shops to adopt their use, and trained detailers on how to properly correct paint to get the most out of them.

2017年8月6日 · The thing to keep in mind about ceramics is that at some point (unless you wax the ceramic coating) it will fail. Based on my reading, most suggest a 5-7 year life of the coating. When it does, the coating must be polished off. If you are planning to keep the car 3-5 years, it's a good way to keep it looking great.

coatings to me are worth it if you want the vehicle to look nice and are willing to pay. An average cermaic =1000 ish dollars for proper work. You cannot use and never should a tunnel brush wash with any coating let alone no coating. You still need to wash it and stuff but since it is a strong coating it should be easier to clean.
