The connections have to be with pipe that is cut square at 90 deg. Don't cut the pipe short, make sure that the pipe gets right to the rings of the fitting.

Using at least a 10" crescent wrench and working from the end of the pipe, place the wrench jaws over the wall of the pipe to about 1/2" depth. Be sure the wrench is closed tight on the pipe.

2014年1月3日 · Windows had it right- Cut between the trap and 90. Then glue on an 1.5" female trap adapter to receive the PVC tube trap. Done deal. yep cut between 90 and trap...glue in a 1 1/2 desanko fitting this will allow you to connect the new pvc trap to your abs pipe.. ben sr.

2018年4月27日 · You can use or some pipe dope or something with it. Since there is no pressure, it shouldn't matter. Maybe enlarge the 3/4 to a few inches of vertical 1" PVC, then drop the 5/8 line into it. Maybe use some pvc female adapters in the WYE if one cannot be found 3/4" female threaded, then use these sized for 5/8" hose.

Before I got a chance to seal it off properly, the concrete guy needed to build a form there. So he cut the pipe flush, stuffed some insulation into the pipe, and mailed down pt wood over it.
