Maximum throws? - The Hangar
2021年4月29日 · I'm setting up a new 42% IMAC plane. This is the first time I have a chance to control every aspect of the plane (brand new). I know I will be running 10-12° elevator, 15-20° aileron, and maybe 15° rudder during normal sequence flying. However, what does this crowd think about the maximum throw you would make available at 100% servo travel?

2019年9月29日 · Pilots fly a “sequence” of pre-established maneuvers in front of judges. Starting with a perfect score of 10 for each maneuver, judges will deduct for deviations or errors. Sequences generally consist of 8 – 10 maneuvers. As with full-scale competition, pilots are separated into classes with each class getting progressively more challenging.

2020年1月2日 · To be more realistic the roll trainer should give you no more than 5 seconds to select an answer. Eventually we'll have an onboard device to record the flight and eliminate the need for judging altogether. Every pilot will be assigned an electronic tag for the contest, just like runners get for a race.

2019年12月8日 · It really looks like the real Extra spinner. I agree that all composites IMAC planes are heavier. Probably 4-6 lbs penalty in the 35% size. Therefore, if you are a good builder it is better for IMAC to get the current wood kits that are availble. Even better if you can fit a 40% or bigger in your shop.
