2005年3月26日 · When I got my new monitor (@144hz) I kept my old one (@60hz) as a secondary monitor. I never had a problem with 60hz before but after dragging a window from the new monitor to the old one I got rid of the 60hz monitor and just have the one 144hz one now!

1999年10月31日 · To reduce ghosting and motion blur, strobing LCDs help far more than 120hz. They mostly also do 120hz. So strobing + 120 hz is >>> compared to 144 hz. Note that freesync does not solve ghosting nor does and some freesync monitors actually have issues in that regard (not sure if freesync is the cause).

2001年4月15日 · Recording 120fps@120Hz in realtime, at full 1080p probably required reducing settings. Don't look at the graphics, look at the motion resolution of the video. Make sure your monitor is running at 120Hz, not 100Hz or 144Hz.

2005年7月10日 · The reason they need 120Hz is so that both eyes can see 60Hz and not 30Hz which would appear choppy to most people. So to answer your question (because i asked the same one), no, 120Hz as they intended to use it, wont make your gaming any smoother except for the fact that the panel probably has a really low refresh rate and is a good quality panel.

They also had shown a 4k G-sync test display at one of the conferences, that worked with a split screen setup and two G-sync modules, that would likely mean that if surround doesn't work now, it will eventually.

2023年6月28日 · Nice idea! Didn't think of that. I found one that does 60Hz (and another that can apparently do 120Hz). Might give it a try. Also tossing up the idea of upgrading MSI MEG X670E Godlike as it will allow me to slot in three graphics cards (8x/8x/4x PCI-E 5) which would allow me to run up to 6 monitors... but yeah that's the more expensive option lol.

Even though I have a 2560x1440 monitor I can run non native resolutions and get an idea for the performance. edit: Heaven Benchmark 8xAA, 16xAF, Extreme Tessellation. 1x GTX670 @ 1230/6765 1920x1080: Min - 30.2fps Avg - 49.1fps Max - 124.6fps
