2015年1月21日 — I'm trying eSUN PETG on M2 with E3D v6, .60mm nozzle. Three consecutive failures within 0.25 mm Z height of each other. All at Z~3mm. I'm very happy with print quality up to that point. (Layer thickness set to 0.25mm) Failure is air printing accompanied by "clunk-clunk" extruder motor sound ". Tear-down always finds plugged nozzle.

2015年1月7日 — Anyone have some good PETG (esun) settings? Exteriors are printing beautifully, and I have the bed adhesion (100C, good leveling and first layer height) and stringing under control (245-250, with fan after first layer). But infill at 20% is a mess.

2015年1月21日 — It has upgraded my PETG print tremendously. I just learned from you about the Zebra plate.. 1. Will it work for all materials as PETG, PVA, HIPS and Flexible and other exotics ones? 2. What settings need be changed in the FFF file? 4. Do we still need to add glue stick or hair spray to make it stick ?

2016年7月17日 — I chose eSUN PETG based on recommendations from others I know and trust as well as youtube and forum advice I had either seen or read. I started out with my basic PLA settings and adjusted retraction, speed and temperature settings to start some baseline tests (temp towers, string tests etc.).

2016年7月28日 — I tried printing eSUN PETG using PLA as support filament. Temperture setting PETG-240, PLA-195. Dense support with 0-seperation layers and tried with 1- seperation layer. The PETG bunches up and would not stick to the PLA. Print goes fine until the PETG tries to print on top of the PLA support layer.

2015年3月30日 — Printing eSun PETG, extruder 247C, Bed 87C, layers .1200 AND first layer set to 97% !!!! I get mirror like finish on face set on the Kapton, but the prints are a bear to remove. I usually shear them off using a piece of wood and a mallet with the wood lying on the plate and pushing horizontally on the print.

Jules, thanks you so much for taking the time to put this thread together. I've been trying to print my fly fishing reel in the black PETG and I've really been putting off playing with the setting because I didn't want to read through 35+ pages of the other PETG thread to find out what works and what doesn't.

2016年3月21日 — BTW the roll of black eSun PETG was wound very smoothly on the roll and diameter was 1.73 and 1.74 in some spots which seem as if they got some new equipment at the factory.. was thinking that this was the problem until I got the digital meat thermometer out and it read 138 when the hot end was reading 240.

2018年6月28日 — just recently bought a roll of eSun white PETG and it is really nice for mechanical part! With a proper calibrated starting height and extrusion multiplier it prints just like PLA . Sticks to the polymide tape really really well, almost too well. I use canned air upside down to freeze the parts off so as not to destroy the tape which I have done.
