Wendy’s is rolling out $1 Frosty treats (small) nationwide through Sept. 30. Whether you’re a fan of the classic Chocolate Frosty or ready to try the limited-time Vanilla Frosty, there’s no reason to suffer through ice cream machine drama any longer.

Wendy’s is taking shots at the Golden Arches by advertising its $1 Frosty as the go-to sweet treat while the “other guys” struggle with broken ice cream machines. Without mentioning McDonald’s by name, Wendy’s added its locations to a so-called McBroken map that tracks the chain’s malfunctioning ice cream machines.

Wendy’s says customers can get a small-size Frosty dessert for just $1 through the end of the month. It’s the latest in an escalating series of price wars amongst fast-food companies to win back and win over customers.
