Two bodies, one of a woman and the other of a 17-year-old boy, were discovered inside a Modesto home on Thursday morning, according to the Modesto Police Department. The bodies had gunshot wounds. The woman’s wound was self-inflicted, the boy’s wound was not.

Once on scene, law enforcement found the woman lying in the center median against a metal guardrail and vegetation.
