Add to the slow-cooker, cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the sauce is glossy and has thickened slightly. Serve the beef with steamed rice or boiled noodles and stir-fried vegetables.
Turn the slow cooker ... Stir into the beef and vegetables with the red wine. Cover and cook on Low for 7–8 hours or High for about 5 hours, depending on the cut used (see Tips below).
