The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 gaming GPU will reportedly be available with 16GB and 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM, possibly with the same core spec.

The latest spec 'leak' has come from more or less reliable X leaker, kopite7kimi, and tells a story of one almighty RTX 5090, with a specs bump that gives it a mouth-watering amount of TSMC-built tech in a single graphics card. And reportedly still a two-slot reference card at that.

While the latest rumors say the RTX 5080 will still only ahve 16GB of memory, Nvidia may offer a 24GB variant in the future. It's not the same as the canceled RTX 4080 12GB, as other specs would remain the same and instead the higher VRAM would come once GDDR7 manufacturers start producing 24Gb (3GB) memory ICs.
