Not very sure was there any sign but if there isn’t you can use Google map live and it will arrow point you to the destination. For my case, I just follow the crowd and it a 1.5-2km away.
How experienced a hiker does one have to be to so this hike? My husband and I are in our mid-70's and will be coming to Japan (first visit) in October (we hope!). It is free. You cannot use OAP outside Osaka, as this attraction is located in Kyoto. However, you may use Kansai Area Pass to reach there. Drop at Saga Arashiyama Station.
