Great museum. Tours guided by actual firefighters from around the Columbus, OH area. Everyone was very personable and knowledgeable. Robert E的完整评论

The museum was not on my radar, until my Lyft driver drove by it. I have visited the Art Museum, German Town, North Station, and other fun spots, but this tops it all! It would be fun for youngsters,… johngA6275MZ的完整评论

Is it well heated in the winter time?
答:
Yes! The museum has heaters installed and is well enough heated that a jacket would not be needed to wear while on the tour.

The museum is open daily Tues-Sat 10 to 4 with the last tour starting around 3 pm. No appointment is necessary and we start tours as needed. It is fun for the whole family and you will learn history and important fire safety information. At 3 1/2 we will talk to the child's attention span and interest with touching fire tools and trucks and ringing bells. If they start to lose interest then we will proceed to the play area where children can drive a full size fire truck with light and siren, dress up in boots, coat and helmet, slide a real fire pole, play with hoses and drive a simulator aerial ladder from the rear using a video TV. Plan on a minimum of 30-45 minutes. A gift shop is available with child items and shirts. Free parking on our premises. $3 next door in the pay lot and .75 an hour on meters. Admission $4 child, $5 senior/military, $6 adults. For the best experience, call 614 464 4004 to see if there is a large tour or birthday party that day that would affect parking and maybe have a crowded play area at a certain time. I am not close to a schedule to check for you. We look forward to seeing you, and giving the little one a free helmet when they leave. Bill/Executive Director
