网页2017年4月18日 · In the end I found a setting that FOR ME was head and shoulders better than every other setting I tried. That jetting was the ProCircuit setting referenced in MXA on their 2023 YZ125 ProCircuit race bike. The setting is 165 main, 62 Pilot, and Y3 needle in the 3rd clip. The Y3 needle is the key to making this jetting work.

网页The 86-93 YZ125 motor usually (certain years excluded) had a good midrange hit and little else. plus terrible shifting. I mean, refuse to shift under power whatsoever at times. It seems like they screwed it up any time they tried to improve it. The 88 ran really well. The 91-93? not so much. The 90 actually won Dirt Bike's shootout, FWIW.

网页2014年1月30日 · Stank recommended changing the stock 38mm Mikuni with a 36mm Keihin from a yz250. His reasoning was the 38mm was too big for the yz125 and would bog down hard in the bottom end. He said the 36mm fixed that problem night and day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 05 yz125 came with the 38mm Mikuni tmx right?

Parts fiche shows a different part number but when received, it's identical with a patching part number in the mold.
