2024年8月11日 · After all, Game Informer's closure came mere months after they had clawed back some mainstream attention by starting their own GameStop-agnostic subscription service for their print magazines, and from what I gather the adoption of that new service (both 1- and 2-year subscriptions) was quite good from the standpoint of the GI staff.

But I'd there was one thing I remember from the magazines, it's the various descriptions for the 1 rating. The first one I remember stated it as 'You don't even wanna know'.

At least one staffer was on the middle of a work trip when the team was told. The sudden closure of Game Informer means that issue number 367, the outlet's Dragon Age: The Veilguard cover story, will be its last.

In like 2019 they started automatically making my subscription digital, and I would have to go to GI support every year to get it fixed. This last year though, there was nothing they could do and I was stuck with the digital version.
